I need to let you Buick lovers know that I raced at Irp indy at the Buick Nationals with Todd Benders 70 Buick GS That I useally bracket race and put my knowlege into and alot of my time working on it, with help from Fred Catlin and Holly Machine shop. I won the 2 gambler races and went out 3rd round of the final race because I hit the brakes too hard at the finish line breaking the timers with some part of the front end because it ran a 10.87 for the first time all week and it was hotter than it was all week. We was dialing a 10.93 and was running a 10.91 so that run we decided to dial a 10.91 in case of a break out situation. The Buick I was runnin was faster than me and I had him beat all the way down the track and I didnt know why he wasnt comeing around me so I braked hard at the finish line and boom I broke out. running A 10.87 on A10.91 dial. I've not ran that fast all week and it was hotter that day. But hey all the Buick people were nice and I really enjoied being there. PS I really need a paint booth or someone to paint my Buicks or help me to start a rent booth to paint cars so that way we can paint the Buick race cars.:beers: :bana: :shield:
