Service Manual question

the other day I purchased a 93 Regal Custom, pristine condition w/ only 46,500 miles on it! Everything works fine. The question is... I saw a Buick Engine Service Manual for the 3800 engine , 1990 model... would this manual be essentially the same as the 1993 model? ( I only paid $3K for the car... a good deal, I'd say )

Why not just get the right manual for your year? Things do change.
