straight 8 manifold

Greetings,

In my travels, I recently acquired an NOS straight-8 exhaust manifold from a former Canadian GM dealer. As my core hobby cars are 64 Chevys, I really need help in identifying what it fits! This is a one piece unit, it's in the box and includes 2 carb heat tube assemblies.

It fits 1939 to 49 Special and Super cars with a single carburetor. The part number was first used on 46 models and superceded the previous numbers. It may fit earler years, my book didn't go back earlier than 39.

Sometime between 50 and 53, the 1393437 number was superceded with a new number which went back and picked up all the earler applications. Your part may work on the same series of cars on up to the last straight 8s (on the 53 Specials), if the differences are minor.
