tire valve stem

I'm wondering tire stem valve that is being used on 60s rims. The T413, 414, are all various lengths for .453" rim hole. I'm measuring a .425" rim hole on a 13 in. OEM GM rim from 1963. The new T413 valve stem is actually bigger at .478" with the .453" rim hole specification. About a .030" for sealing.
Apparent to me everyone is ramming T413 in with lots and lots of lube to fit the hole. One shop that charged me premium for install of two T413s used a screwdriver to push them in and they assured me absolutly no warranty.

The 1.250" height gives you just barely enough to fill air pressure to clear the hub cap. I will be getting the T414 with 1.50" height to have stem for the use of locking air pumps that hold on while filling. I will replace these two with Alligator tire valve stems Mercedes Wheel Valve Stem TR-414 Alligator 519.10.44 519-10-44 000.400.03.13 519 10 44 0004000313 000 400 03 13 5191044 000-400-03-13 | Pelican Parts
It is incorrect to use screwdriver to install tire valve stems. Possible damage to stem result in failure.

Has anyone used TR600 stems to upgrade from T4xx series?
