    39 century side mount covers

    I have a 39 Century with side mount spare tire covers, and found out that the covers use fender welting on them to prevent scratching, anybody know how the welting is attached?? There are a couple of little rivits on a side cover that may have been used, but I don,t know exactly how they were used.

    Dutweiler,s 1938 Century coupe

    Saw Gerry Dutweilers 38 straight 8 powered Buick Century cpe at the L.A. antique Drags in Fontana today. It has so far turned the quarter mile in 11.37 sec. at 117 so far. It sounds like a big block and runs like one too. Pretty good for a street machine.
