drove my fathers 42,000 original mile 71 deuce to church and when i was coming home with the a/c on the car cut-off at idle at a traffic light but started right back-up and felt like sometimes it would cut-off at idle only with the a/c on. what's the problem?:angry:

no. get matching ignitor coil.:shield:

use the search thread and type in ignitor. i use ignitor for 10yrs. in a recurved distributor and it really lit my fire. but i keep a set of points and condenser in my glove box in case of ignitor failure. some guys swear by them, and other guys hate them.
