    1950 Buick Special front bumper

I have recently aquired a '50 Buick front bumper to put on my '53 Special. The '50 buper is a little too wide a fit on the '53. I am trying to see if this bumper is off a '50 Special or the larger Super/Roadmaster series. Does anybody know if there were 2 size front bumpers, one size for...

I am trying to get my steering wheel off my 53 Special to fix a turn signal switch. Pulled off the center cap and horn ring. I am looking at the three slotted holes on the wheel itself. I have my steering wheel puller but the three keyholed slots aren't threaded. I don't think I would have...

The guy used speedway hairpins locating the rear to the center x member on the frame. Kinda reminds you of...

    Shocks need replacing???

Hey guys, I had my 53 Special at my buddy's garage this week. He was checking it out to see what it needed to pass inspection. I know he's not familiar with the older cars, so sometimes I take what he says with a grain of salt. He did mention that I needed my front shocks replaced. I asked...

. . . I have run across a gentleman who has a 1936 Buick toploader transmission. I currently have two 53 specials, one an auto, the other is a three speed manual. I was thinking about swapping the manual out of one and into the other until I ran across this. It definitely would be cool to run...
