    Bellhousing ID

    I did some checking in the tech archives on a Pontiac site and it appears it could be a 79 & up Firebird bell. Apparently bells up to 78 had 2 hole patterns for different trannys and only 1 pattern for 79 & up. :clonk:

    Rcull, good info in that post, but not what I need. The correct bell, that I now have, has the clutch fork above the starter bulge on the driver's side(in the 9 o'clock position). The bell I want to ID, has the clutch fork below the starter bulge on the driver's side(in the 7 o'clock position)...

    I've got a BOP bellhousing that I thought would work on my 64 Olds F-85.....wrong! The clutch fork is below the starter. The casting number is #1249599,.........any ideas???????:confused: Thanks GMranch

    aluminum 300 4bbl manifolds

    I went to the Portland Swap Meet today(4/5/03) and counted 4 aluminum 300 4bbl intake manifolds ranging in price from $75 to $150. This meet ends Sunday, so anyone wanting one of these better hurry!
