S Special57 Newbie Jul 13, 2008 #3 Backspacing Hi, I believe the backspacing on a stock 57 15X6 inch wheel is 3 3/8. Good Luck, John Z

Buick used the 5x5 bolt pattern for big series cars (except for the Special/Skylarks introduced in the early '60's) from something like 1935 to the mid '70's. So your wheels should be 5x5. Here is a good list: http://www.teufert.net/wheels/bolt-pat.htm I checked my '52 shop manual and couldn't find the backspacing listed. It may be easier to just measure: https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html
