I have a '69 Special 350, 2bbl rochester. Is it possible to convert to a 4bbl?

The easiest an most economical way would be to go to a wrecker and find a complete bolt on assembly.

You could check with some of the guys parting out cars in the Buicks.net classifieds.

or you could watch ebay. I just had a look, right now there is just one bare 4 bbl manifold and 2 complete motor with 4bbls
 
Oh, so you can't just install a 4bbl, you need to change the intake manifold? What else? Is this a feasible switch to make? I am not a racer, just looking for better gas mileage/improved performance.

While checking my rpm's. I notice that the idle will intermittantly fluctuate between 40 rpm, between 620 and 660 while the car is in idle. Car is tuned correctly, new plugs/plug wires, points/dist cap. What can cause this?
