F FGirdich Member Dec 5, 2006 #1 My AC compressor is leaking at the seals, evident by the oil spray and greenish oil drops while secured. When I do replace the compressor, is a flush of the system required or can I replace, evacuate, charge be done? Thanks for the help.

G guyopel Experienced Member Dec 5, 2006 #2 If you have no noise from the compressor and oil looks clean you should be O.K. with out a flush . Good luck . :beers:

F FGirdich Member Dec 6, 2006 #3 Thanks, there is no noise while the compressor is running, just the evidence of oil spray and the occassional loss of freon pressure.
