i have a 1954 super that i am considering to conver to a v6 from 1975 it is complete with transmission i can only find 1 number where the transmission meet the engine it says 1249432 is this the engine number and what does it say about the engine and are there any other numbers i should check and does it fit the 54 super.

This is not a good swap. The engine is not powerful enough. You would have poor performance. There will be a lot of work to install it and I don't think you would be happy with the results. You also have to install an open drive rear axle to make it work. If you are going to do all that work you should find a better engine to swap in.

i would say that duckhen was a spambot ... but some of his responses are so bizarre that i'm wondering if he might actually be someone with a very poor grasp of the English language.
