Cater Carb question

Guys, Where can I get a gasket for a carter carb, I just need one gasket that ripped?

Also setting the floats I turn the carb upside down and set them at 5/32 with no gasket, is that correct? I use a 5/32 drill bit to measure.

How do you set the metering rods?

Right now gas is poring out of the top of the carb. It's been difficult setting the floats and getting the car to run correctly. Last time I had it running I would give it gas and the car would die. i could get it to idle but as soon as I gave it gas it died.

You are probably going to have to find a good used gasket.

I have a 1951 Buick Super 50 series 263. Carter Carb model number WCD 725 SA I think! What is the difference between a 725 SA and 726 SA?
