Electronic Ignition

picking your brains for help.
We are converting to an electronic ignition on our 1961 Buick Le Sabre 364 nail head rebuild. Does anyone know where we can get switched full 12 volts to bypass resistor wire? Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

Is this your electric circuit? I found it in the Library on this site and located in the home page. In this circuit, when the ignition switch is in ignition 1(yellow wire) it goes through the resistor, but in ignition 2(black wire), which is where the car will run, it does not. It is bypassing the resistor, and it is direct connection to battery voltage.
So, are you getting <12Volts in ignition 2? If this circuit is working correctly you would get battery voltage(>12.4V) in ignition 2.

Side note, you can get switched 12V from the main fusebox inside the vehicle. But, don't take this lead, spend some time on my circuit explanation. Verify this is your vehicle schematic.
