Need Some Help Carter Carb

Hi All,

I have a 66 Buick LS with a 340 wildcat motor I just had the carter carb rebuilt the question I have is when I purchased the car the carb was so far gone and everything was taken off the carb lines that is, the "Choke Heat Inlet" What attaches to this?

Also the Power Brake Booster line that runs from the brake booster to the manifold, where it attaches to the manifold broke off, that piece that attaches there does anyone know where to get that part.

Thanks for the help,

Matt

Matt, the PB fitting can be found at a good auto parts store. It's just a 90 elbow, 1/8" pipe thread by 3/8" inverted flare. Made by Weatherhead, or Brass-tite.

The fitting on the carb's choke housing runs to a tube on the exhaust manifold. It just slides into the manifold, doesn't have to be tight. The other end of the tube in the ex manifold should have a line running to the top of the carb. It just supplies clean, filtered air thru the manifold and then to the choke on the carb. Use metal brake line for those.

There is a 66 Chassis manual on this site, it should show the lines.
