there's an article in this month's Circle Track magazine with a bunch of tips and tricks that Buick owners might find interesting. they got an 800cfm rated ( closer to 780 actual ) carb up to ~890cfm.
also, the largest Q-Jet was not the 800cfm rating units. there were 840cfm rated units in 1971-72 Pontiac HO 455 engines.
