Does anyone know of any good sites or resources to research you VIN and track your vehicle back to its origin. I've consulted the tools on this site and have found that my car originated in Kansas City Plant. But I'm wondering if there's other resources out there? Most of the internet search engines I've found bring me to dead links or outdated pages. I'm hoping to be able to trace my 1950 Buick's history back to the dealership it came from and follow up to the person I purchased it from. My VIN# is 45532057

If you wish to go that far, I think your only option is to start with the "Sloan Museum".
