Bad luck with my 71 Sklyark...

So I'm driving on the freeway and yes, I missed a pothole. And it was a big pothole. I knew it was a bad hit from the sound because I know my Hooker Super Comps hang really low. I check it out and it wasn't as bad as I imagined. No cracks but it's a noticeable dent where it bends before the...

    1964 LeSabre lowering coils...

Does anyone know of any companies that manufacture lowering springs/coils for a 64 LeSabre? I used Eibach lowering springs in my 71 Skylark and I love them. Great perfrormance and a mean looking stance. I saw on Eibachs website that they sell a set for 64-67 Skylarks but I'm not sure if it would...

    1964 Lesabre wiring harness...

I'm having some electrical issues with my Lesabre. The taillights don't work, the brake lights don't work the turn signals don't work, etc. The only electrical components that operate is the am radio and headlights. I checked out my fuse block and it's pretty rusted. I was debating about going...

    Demon 650cfm or 750cfm

What would be the best size carb for a heavily modified sbb 350 (not worthy of an 850 cfm): 650cfm or 750 cfm? I had my eye on the Speed Demon with vacuum secondary... Thanks, :shield:

    1968 Riviera frame swap...

Does anyone by chance know if there's a later model GM frame that a 1968 Riviera would mount on? I understand that it would come along with some custom work, but what's the closest frame in size that would work? I'd prefer to keep it all Buick, but as long as it's GM that's okay too... Thanks...

    Riviera supercharger

I noticed that the supercharger cover on the 1995 Riviera vs. the 1996 & up Riviera is completely different. Is the 1995 cover removable to paint if it's discolored? And are both engines still Series II? ^ This is the 1995 cover

1971 Skylark Custom Convertible paint help

The front trim on the hood should NOT be painted if you're going for stock. It's supposed to be polished chrome...as for the "headlight doors," I'm not sure what part you're referring to. Pretty much damn near everything around the headlights are supposed to be chrome/polished steel. Hope this...

    430 swap...

There's a local ad for a 430 w/TH400 out of a '69 Electra. I don't know a whole lot about the 430 and was wondering if it would be a wise decision to swap out my 300 for the 430. I want to put it in my 64 LeSabre. Any ideas? And of course, if purchased, the 430 would undergo a complete...

    1964 LeSabre...

I'm in the process right now of trying to buy this 1964 2-door LeSabre, I just want to know a little more about them. Can anyone give me the run down on the LeSabre models and why they look almost identical to a Wildcat? I'm more of a skylark man myself but I just love how the LeSabre looks...

    Show off your Buick...

Hey guys, Just trying to get the word out on this new website; it's www.thevirtualcarshow.com. I met one of the employees at a car show and he put my ride on there. It's gonna be free for the first 6 months or so and I just thought it would be a good way to get all of those hot Buicks out...

    wire wheels

Wire wheels... I'm not sure as to what wire wheels you're looking for, but it sounds like you've been looking at Dayton Wire Wheels due to the price. They are the best. Depending on what size you're looking for, you can probably get a set with tires for about $600 or less. These are the cheaper...

    I betrayed Buick...

I'll be the first to admit it. I think I've fallen in love with with...gulp...the Chrysler 300! I know, I know, I've vowed to myself to buy only Buicks but I can't resist the irresistable good looks of this new luxury American sedan. Yes, the Buick Lucerne is still at the top of my list, but...

    Electric fuel pump

I'm putting an electric fuel pump on my 71 Skylark but I don't know what kind to get. What's a good number for GPH? The 350 is being rebuilt for speed so I want to know the right amount of fuel intake I'll need. I had my eyes on the Holley Red (97 gph). What do you guys think?

    350 chrome dress up...

Anybody have any advice on chrome hoses for my 71 350? I was gonna go with the chrome hoses (i.e. heater hose, radiator hose, etc.) from Pep Boys or Kragen. Are they any good or just junk? Everything else under the hood is already chrome so I thought I'd just stick with that theme.

    Buick LaCrosse and Lucerne

What do you guys think about these two? The Lucerne does have the more modern and appealing look that Buick has been in need of for some time now; not to mention a 275hp V8. It might prove to be quite a competitor for Cadillac. The LaCrosse is also impressive on another level as well with an...
