225 V6 oil pressure help!

Please do check it out. I did the exact same thing. Bought a complete kit!! It was actually the same price as the timing and out kit so I bought the complete thing. Did you change the oil pump with the rebuild? Swap back to the old if you did. Maybe the new on is not good.

No, the oil pump is still original. Do you think the gears and clearances inside that could be too worn as well?

this is a common problem with the Buick pump arrangement.

Ok, I think I'm just going to try and rebuild the oil pump, seeing that I have no idea how many miles are on it and its probably pretty worn out. Is this a good kit http://www.taperformance.com/proddetail.asp?prod=TA_1507? And does anyone know if this can be done externally, not taking the timing chain cover off?

TA is high quality stuff, yeah. all made in the US.

there's a china made knockoff, but that's not the stuff TA uses.
