63 riv engine color?

i am working on getting my 63 up and running down the road. it has the orig 425 motor in it with 84000 orig miles. Engine is red is it supposed to be silver or is that just for the 401 cars?:confused:

Riviet, read all the posts of the 65 Riviera thread that I've brought to the top. We discussed this recently on here.

the riviera gurus sent me adealer service bulletin for 1963 models that shows rivieras 401and 425 are supossed to be silver in color thought i would share thanks guys:hurray:
