Wondering if they sell a H.E.I ignition/dist for a 340-4 ??

an HEI from a Buick 350 should swap in place of the points distributor you've got now.

as noted on the other board, you could use an HEI from a 455 but you have to change the drive gear on the bottom of the distributor shaft.

Can the 455 HEI also be used on a 300 with a gear swap? If not which one will work?

the same distributor fits 215 ( possibly some minor interference issues ), 300, 340 and 350.
