OD tranny possibilities

Hey,
I'm considering replacing the 300 in my 67 Skylark with a 455. I know that Posten makes a kit to facilitate this swap but I haven't heard much about the possibilities of installing an overdrive tranny with this combo. Most of the Hi-per Buicks I've seen usually run a TH400. Anybody have any insight on this subject?

The 200-4R bolts up to your 455 and will work very nicely. I run one in my 72 GS 455 and with a 3.31 gear it runs low 13s in street trim and pulls 17+ MPG
