B bob k. mando Moderator Dec 15, 2016 #5 other pinging alternatives include: 100LL AvGas racing fuel leaded fuel additives / octane boosters use http://airnav.com/fuel/local.html to find an FBO near you. my lowest local price is $3.66 / gal but most Buick V8s engines were actually .5-.75 lower then advertised in reality. umm, wasn't that true of pretty much everything out of Detroit back then? that was the whole point of "blueprinting" engines.
