Hi, could we get a rundown of how to identify valve covers. Specifically pictures of them. I have a 68 skylark custom and I dont know if i should have the valve cover 350-2/4 decal in the center or not. Thank you.
Which is which?

Bob's post says 400 has ribs with displacement label relief area. But what about 350s? I see all these restored cars online and they have 350-2 and 4 labels on the valve covers.

Well, I like the sticker look and if we dont know Im prolly going to justget a pair of the sticker label type for my 68 350. See i have 3 pairs of the full ribbed andthe engine thatis in the car is full ribbed.

I just wanted to post one more time and make sure that I understand, are we saying that buick manufactured full ribbed and not full ribbed valve covers for the 350s but there was no rhyme or reason as to what car or engine or year got them? Thanks.
