Are the combustion chambers on the 320's all the same size or is any years smaller than others ? And if so what casting numbers do I look for on the smaller ones? Thanks............

Hay guys, has anyone ever had a detonation issue with the 320's when running higher compression ? I just beat the tops out of two pistons at Bonneville running 13:1 pistons and with 33 degree of timing. Like to hear your ideas. Dale

Are the dimentions on all Nailhead distributor the same? and do they all use the same distributor gear? It's the distance from the mounting flange to the top (or bottom) of the gears that I am interested in. Thanks

Even though I have never had an issue with the "pinch type" rod end on the rods..........I am thinking of welding this slit closed and installing a floating pin. I am going up to 13:1 with new pistons and this seems like it would be a week point. Thinking I need to remove the bolt, weld up...
